BA (Honours) in Classics at Brock University may earn a Concentration in Greek and Roman Studies by completing seven credits that integrate Greek and Latin language and literature with Greek and Roman history. This concentration is ideal for students seeking advanced study in Classical languages, literature, and history. Required courses include introductory language courses in either Greek or Latin, followed by intermediate language courses (GREE 2P01 and 2P02 or LATI 2P01 and 2P02), and one advanced Greek or Latin credit numbered 3(alpha)90 or above. Students also select one credit from foundational courses such as Discovering Ancient Greece, Discovering Ancient Rome, Understanding Medical and Scientific Language, or Myths of the Greek and Roman Gods or Heroic Age.
