COURSE CURRICULUM

The Global Leadership Graduate Certificate program at BCIT consists of two terms totaling 19 credits, designed to develop essential leadership skills and intercultural competencies necessary for today’s global business environment. In Term 1, students focus on foundational topics such as working effectively across cultures, leading global teams, and developing global strategies. These courses equip students with the ability to navigate diverse cultural contexts, foster collaboration within international teams, and create strategic plans that position organizations to succeed in the global marketplace. Term 2 builds on this foundation by exploring leadership in innovation, conflict management, and negotiation, providing students with practical skills to manage complex situations and drive change within organizations. The program culminates in a Global Leadership Capstone Project, where students apply their knowledge by addressing real-world challenges faced by businesses operating internationally. This comprehensive curriculum encourages the development of culturally aware communication, strategic thinking, and ethical leadership, all critical to leading effectively in a diverse and interconnected world.
