COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Analytics Graduate Certificate program at BCIT is a full-time, nine-month program totaling 19 credits, designed to develop practical skills in business data analysis and decision-making. The curriculum is divided into two terms, beginning with courses on the theory of business data analytics, foundations of applied business analytics, and utilizing data structures for business analytics, which establish a strong base in understanding and managing data. The second term focuses on quantitative methods for business analytics and analytic models for business decisions, equipping students with the mathematical and modeling tools necessary to solve complex business problems. The program culminates in a capstone project where students apply their knowledge to real-world challenges, gaining hands-on experience as business analysts. This program blends online learning with in-person interaction, promoting flexibility and collaboration. Throughout, students learn how to select, analyze, and visualize data effectively while developing strategic business insights.
