COURSE CURRICULUM

The Operations and Management Engineering diploma program delivers a comprehensive curriculum across four levels, totaling 124.5 credits, and is designed to equip students with both technical and managerial skills. In Level 1, students build a strong foundation in business communication, economics, marketing, operations management, mathematics, project management, and business information systems. Level 2 expands on this with applied analytics in Excel, organizational development, macroeconomics, accounting, and key operations topics such as business statistics, supply chain demand, and process analysis and improvement. By Level 3, the focus shifts toward advanced operational strategies including managerial accounting, quality management, process improvement projects, quantitative decision-making, supply chain production, and business database applications. In Level 4, students gain specialized knowledge in legal and safety frameworks, labour relations, and core continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints. Courses also cover sustainability in operations, ERP systems, supply chain technology and strategy, and mathematical decision models. A key component is the 12.0-credit Industry Project, which allows students to apply their learning to real-world challenges. With electives in entrepreneurial business planning and change strategies, graduates leave the program prepared to lead and innovate in various sectors including manufacturing, logistics, services, healthcare, and technology.
