COURSE CURRICULUM

The Digital Design and Development Diploma program offers a comprehensive curriculum that equips students with the technical, creative, and strategic skills needed to thrive in the digital media industry. In Term 1, students build a solid foundation with courses in fundamental web technologies, design principles, vector graphics, system operations, Photoshop, usability, marketing, communication, and agile project management, totaling 27 credits. Level 2 continues with more advanced learning, including dynamic content design, vector graphics, frontend web development, project-based learning, motion graphics, branding, and consumer behavior, for a total of 32 credits over 20 weeks. In Level 3, students delve into frontend development at a higher level, visual storytelling, advanced Photoshop, digital asset integration, and legal aspects of digital work while undertaking their second project course, gaining 24 credits over 15 weeks. The final term (Level 4) focuses on full stack web development, advanced content design, leadership and ethics, user behavior and analytics, entrepreneurship, and a capstone final project. The program culminates in a 9.5-credit practicum, giving students real-world experience in a professional setting. With a total of 110.5 credits, this intensive diploma thoroughly prepares graduates for careers in frontend and full stack development, user experience design, content creation, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship in the digital space.
