COURSE CURRICULUM

The Piping Foundation program consists of a single comprehensive course, PIPE 1140 Piping Foundation (Harmonized), which carries a total of 52 credits. This 26-week foundational program is designed to provide students with the essential skills and knowledge required for entry into the piping trades, including plumbing, steamfitting, and sprinklerfitting. The curriculum integrates both theoretical instruction and practical, hands-on training to prepare students for the technical and safety demands of the industry. Upon successful completion of this course, students earn credit toward level one apprenticeship technical training, along with recognition of 350 workplace hours applicable toward their apprenticeship. This solid foundation equips graduates with the competencies needed to confidently pursue employment in the piping trades and to continue advancing through additional apprenticeship levels.
