COURSE CURRICULUM

The Software Development Diploma program provides a comprehensive learning experience that builds practical skills and technical knowledge for a career in software development. In the first term, students learn foundational subjects including math for the computer industry, programming fundamentals, web and internet basics, relational databases, and project teamwork and communication. The second term advances programming skills and introduces user experience design, web programming, object-oriented programming, networking essentials, and the internet of things. The third term focuses on project management, rapid application development, web and object-oriented programming, and mobile app development using React Native. The final term covers relational databases, algorithms and data structures, advanced mobile app development, enterprise computing, and includes a capstone project where students apply their skills in a real-world software development environment. Throughout the program, students gain hands-on experience with current technologies and industry practices, preparing them to work effectively in various software development roles and adapt to emerging trends in the technology sector.
