MGMT1101 emphasizes essential managerial skills, including strategic planning, decision-making, and employee engagement. MGMT1102 examines sustainability and business ethics, integrating economic and environmental responsibilities. MGMT1201 enhances communication skills for professional settings, and MGMT1401 introduces microeconomics, exploring market structures and consumer behavior. MGMT1601 provides basic legal knowledge for business, while MGMT2401 examines macroeconomic topics like national income and fiscal policies. Lastly, MKTG1101 covers marketing principles, including the 4Ps and consumer behavior, providing a solid foundation for business management.The Insurance and Risk Management Major includes required courses such as FNSR2101, which introduces risk management and insurance concepts; FNSR2102, covering property insurance principles; FNSR2103, focusing on liability insurance and legal aspects; and FNSR2104, which explores Canadian automobile insurance.
