COURSE CURRICULUM

Algoma University’s two-year thesis-based Master of Science in Computer Science program offers a comprehensive, research-focused curriculum designed to prepare students for advanced careers in computing. Throughout the program, students complete six graduate-level courses, including three core courses and three electives, allowing for both a solid foundation and personalized specialization. The central component is the Master’s Thesis Project, which enables students to conduct independent, in-depth research under the guidance of expert faculty. Students admitted to the program maintain full-time status for the entire two years, registering and paying applicable tuition, ancillary, and insurance fees for all three semesters each academic year.
