COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Education program follows a structured and immersive format designed to blend academic coursework with practical teaching experience. It begins in the Spring/Summer term with five intensive courses that lay the foundation for pedagogical knowledge and teaching strategies. In the Fall, students take four 10-week courses and participate in an in-school practicum every Wednesday, which is complemented by a dedicated four-week practicum to apply classroom learning in real teaching environments. The Winter term continues with another set of four 10-week courses and a more extended five-week practicum, allowing students to deepen their engagement with learners and refine their teaching skills. In the final Spring/Summer term, students complete three intensive courses alongside a final five-week practicum, culminating their teacher preparation journey. This schedule ensures that students receive continuous and progressive hands-on experience throughout the program, building confidence and competence as educators. The combination of theory and practice equips graduates with the knowledge, skills, and practical readiness needed to thrive in diverse educational settings.
