Step-by-Step Process of Germany Student Visa Punjab

Step 1: Get Your APS Certificate First

Before anything else, before you even finalise your university, start your APS certificate application.

Apply at APS India in New Delhi. No other location is accepted.
Fee: INR 18,000
Processing time: 4 to 8 weeks including an in-person interview
In 2026, most German consulates will not allow you to book a visa appointment without your APS number
New rule from March 2026: Minimum 70% in Class XII required for APS eligibility

Step 2: Get Your Admission Letter
