COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Public Health is a 160-credit-point postgraduate program designed to provide comprehensive training in population health, disease prevention, and health system improvement. The program is structured into core domain subjects, focus subjects, electives, and capstone or applied learning components, with flexible study pathways of 1-year, 1.5-year, and 2-year durations depending on prior qualifications. The Core Domain Subjects are divided into Group 1 (20 credit points) and Group 2 (20 credit points for 1.5 and 2-year pathways), providing foundational knowledge in public health principles, epidemiology, and health systems. The Core Focus Subjects form a major component of the degree, with 40 credit points in Group 1 and an additional 20 credit points in Group 2 for the 2-year pathway, allowing students to develop deeper expertise in areas such as health promotion, disease prevention, and health policy.
