COURSE CURRICULUM

The Property Investment and Development program is a 160-credit-point postgraduate degree designed to provide advanced knowledge and practical skills in real estate, investment analysis, and property development. The structure is flexible, offering 160, 120, and 80 credit-point pathways depending on a student’s prior qualifications and experience. The program is built around several core subject groups that progressively develop professional competence in property-related disciplines. Core Group 1 forms the main foundation of study, while Core Groups 2, 3, and 4 provide additional specialised learning across property investment, development processes, valuation, and strategic decision-making. These core subjects collectively ensure students gain a strong understanding of property markets, financial feasibility, urban development, and industry practices. In addition to the core curriculum, students complete an Elective Space component, available in the 160 and 120 credit-point pathways, which allows for further specialisation or interdisciplinary learning in related business or planning fields. This flexibility enables students to tailor their studies according to career interests such as property finance, development management, or investment strategy.
