COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Arts double degree is a 320 credit point program structured to integrate scientific study with humanities and social science learning, providing students with interdisciplinary knowledge and global perspectives. The Science component consists of 20 credit points and introduces foundational scientific concepts and methods, ensuring students develop essential skills in scientific inquiry, analysis, and critical thinking. The Arts component, worth 40 credit points, provides introductory studies in humanities and social sciences, helping students build communication skills and an understanding of cultural, social, and global issues. A 10 credit point capstone component is included to consolidate learning, allowing students to integrate knowledge from both science and arts disciplines through a culminating academic experience. The Science Testamur Major, worth 130 credit points, enables students to specialise deeply in a chosen scientific field such as biology, chemistry, zoology, environmental science, or other approved science disciplines, developing advanced theoretical and practical expertise. The Arts Major, worth 80 credit points, allows students to focus on a humanities or social science discipline such as international relations, history, philosophy, languages, or cultural studies, strengthening critical analysis and communication skills. Additionally, a 40 credit point minor provides further flexibility for interdisciplinary exploration or complementary study areas.
