COURSE CURRICULUM

This Bachelor of Laws (Non-Graduate Entry) program is structured as a 320 credit point degree designed to provide a balanced combination of core legal education, legal specialisation, and interdisciplinary study. The Core component consists of 160 credit points and includes foundational and advanced law subjects that build a strong understanding of the Australian legal system. These typically cover essential areas such as contracts, torts, criminal law, constitutional law, administrative law, property law, equity and trusts, legal ethics, and dispute resolution, ensuring students develop the essential knowledge required for legal practice. The program also includes 80 credit points of LLB Alternate Subjects, allowing students to choose from a wide range of specialised law electives such as international law, corporate law, human rights, environmental law, technology law, and clinical legal practice, enabling them to tailor their legal studies to specific interests or career goals. In addition, students complete 80 credit points of Elective Subjects from non-law disciplines, which may include areas such as business, communication, social sciences, psychology, or information systems, supporting interdisciplinary learning and broader career flexibility.
