COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Health, Physical Education, and Sport is a multidisciplinary degree that integrates four key areas of study: health education, physical education, sport, and movement science. Together, these areas equip students with the knowledge, practical skills, and professional vision needed to lead high-quality health and physical education programs that enhance the wellbeing of young people. The program encourages students to reimagine sport in ways that are more inclusive, innovative, and accessible, ensuring it can be enjoyed and participated in by everyone. It also provides strong academic and practical foundations in health and movement science, sport, leisure and recreation, and physical activity and sport studies, enabling graduates to apply evidence-based approaches in a range of professional contexts. A major feature of the degree is its flexibility, with eight elective subjects that allow students to tailor their learning according to their interests and career aspirations. These electives can be chosen from areas such as sport and event management, psychology and wellbeing, education, and health promotion, helping students broaden their expertise and career pathways.
