COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Bachelor of Business at Western Sydney University is a 440-credit-point double degree designed to develop highly skilled professionals with expertise in both engineering and business disciplines. The program includes an 80-credit-point Business core that builds foundational knowledge in areas such as management, marketing, economics, and organisational practice, alongside an 80-credit-point Engineering core that introduces key engineering principles, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills. Students then complete 80 credit points of Business majors, allowing specialisation in areas such as Applied Finance and FinTech, Economics, Human Resource Management, International Business, Management, Marketing and MarTech, Sport Management, or Business Analytics. The Engineering component is significantly more extensive, comprising 200 credit points of advanced engineering study, where students specialise in fields such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics and Mechatronics, Construction, Advanced Manufacturing, Materials Engineering, or Sustainability Engineering. This structure ensures deep technical training in engineering combined with strong business capability. The program is designed to produce graduates who can operate effectively across both technical and managerial environments.
