COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Communication / Bachelor of Business at Western Sydney University is a 320-credit-point double degree that combines communication, media, and business education to prepare students for careers in a digital and globalised economy. The Communication component includes 80 credit points of core study focused on developing strong foundations in media, communication theory, and professional practice, along with an 80-credit-point Communication major where students specialise in areas such as Advertising or Public Relations. The Business component consists of 70 credit points of core subjects that provide essential knowledge in key business areas, supported by a 10-credit-point alternate subject that allows students to tailor their studies based on their chosen business pathway. Students also complete an 80-credit-point Testamur Major in business disciplines such as Accounting, Applied Finance and FinTech, Business Analytics, Economics, Human Resource Management, International Business, Management, Marketing and MarTech, Property, Sport Management, or related fields.
