COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Arts and Business program at Western Sydney University is a 320-credit-point double degree designed to provide students with both creative and professional business skills. The Arts component includes core subjects such as Australian Politics and Active Citizenship, Diversity, Language and Culture, Academic English, and Critical Thinking, helping students strengthen communication, analytical thinking, and cultural understanding. Students can choose from a wide range of Arts majors including Anthropology, Creative Writing, Criminology, International Relations, Psychology, Sociology, Philosophy, Music, and Languages such as Arabic, Chinese, Indonesian, and Japanese. In addition, students complete a minor in a selected Arts discipline to broaden their academic expertise. The Business component develops practical and industry-focused knowledge through subjects such as Marketing, People and Organisations, Evidence-Based Decision Making, Digital Transformation, Employability, and Professional Business Experience. Students also complete a business major in areas including Accounting, Applied Finance and FinTech, Business Analytics, Human Resource Management, International Business, Management, Marketing and MarTech, Property, Economics, or Sport Management. This interdisciplinary degree prepares graduates with strong communication, leadership, analytical, and professional skills for diverse careers in the global workforce.
