The Master of Professional Accounting (Advanced) with a specialisation in Financial Management is a 96-credit-point postgraduate program designed for non-accounting graduates who want to build a career in accounting while gaining strong expertise in financial decision-making and corporate finance. The program includes 66 credit points of core accounting subjects that provide a solid foundation in financial reporting, management accounting, auditing, taxation, and business law, ensuring students develop essential professional accounting knowledge. A 6-credit-point capstone subject is also included, allowing students to integrate and apply their learning to real-world business and accounting scenarios. The Financial Management specialisation (MAJ40294) contributes 24 credit points and focuses on the planning, organisation, and control of financial resources within organisations. Students learn how companies raise capital, allocate funds, manage investments, and assess financial risks to support effective business decisions.
