COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Advanced consists of 16 subjects totaling 96 credit points and is structured to provide a comprehensive and flexible business education. The program includes nine core subjects that build essential knowledge and skills across key business disciplines such as leadership, strategy, finance, marketing, economics, operations, and organizational management. These core subjects establish a strong foundation in contemporary business practices and prepare students to address complex managerial challenges. Students are also required to complete the capstone subject, MBA 908, which is undertaken after all core MBA subjects have been successfully completed. The capstone serves as an integrative learning experience, allowing students to apply their accumulated knowledge and skills to real-world business problems and consulting projects. In addition, the degree includes four subjects (24 credit points) from a chosen specialisation, enabling students to develop expertise in a specific area aligned with their career goals and interests. To further enhance flexibility and customization, students complete two elective subjects (12 credit points) selected from postgraduate offerings within the School of Business. This balanced structure combines core business knowledge, specialised learning, practical application, and elective choice to prepare graduates for leadership roles in diverse industries and organizations.
