COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Advanced with a Marketing specialisation consists of 96 credit points and is designed to build strong leadership skills alongside advanced marketing knowledge. The program includes 60 credit points of core MBA subjects that provide a solid foundation in essential business areas such as strategy, leadership, economics, finance, operations, and data-informed decision-making. These core subjects help students understand how modern organisations operate in competitive and dynamic global markets. A capstone subject is also included, which is completed after the core units and provides an integrative learning experience where students apply their knowledge to real-world business problems through collaborative projects or consulting-style case studies. In addition, students complete 24 credit points in the Marketing specialisation (MAJ40378), which focuses on key areas such as consumer behaviour, market research, branding, digital marketing, advertising strategy, product positioning, and integrated marketing communications. Students learn how to identify target markets, analyse customer needs, and design effective marketing strategies that create value for both organisations and society. The specialisation also develops creative and analytical skills, including the use of modern tools and techniques to design impactful marketing campaigns and evaluate their effectiveness. By combining core MBA knowledge, a capstone experience, and specialised marketing training, the program prepares graduates for careers in marketing management, brand strategy, digital marketing, advertising, and other roles in the global business and communications industry.
