COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Advanced with a Human Resource Management specialisation consists of 96 credit points and is designed to develop strong business leadership skills alongside advanced expertise in managing people and organisational systems. The program includes 60 credit points of core MBA subjects that provide a solid foundation in key areas such as leadership, strategy, economics, marketing, finance, operations, and data-informed decision-making. These core subjects help students understand how organisations function in competitive and changing global environments. A capstone subject is also included, which is completed after the core units and provides an integrative learning experience where students apply their knowledge to real-world business problems through collaborative projects or case-based learning. In addition, students complete 24 credit points in the Human Resource Management specialisation (MAJ40394), which focuses on key people management areas such as recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, employee relations, compensation systems, workplace health and safety, and organisational change. This specialisation helps students understand how to attract, develop, and retain talent while improving employee engagement and organisational performance. It also emphasizes strategic workforce planning and managing workplace culture in dynamic business environments. By combining core MBA knowledge, a capstone experience, and specialised HRM training, the program prepares graduates for leadership roles in human resources, talent management, organisational development, and broader management positions in diverse industries.
