COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Advanced with a Finance specialisation consists of 96 credit points and is designed to develop strong business leadership skills along with advanced financial expertise. The program includes 60 credit points of core MBA subjects that provide a solid foundation in key business areas such as strategy, leadership, economics, marketing, operations, and data-informed decision-making. These core subjects help students understand how organisations operate in complex and competitive global environments and how financial decisions integrate with overall business strategy. A capstone subject is also included, which is completed after the core subjects and provides an integrative learning experience where students apply their knowledge to real-world business problems through case studies or consulting-style projects. In addition, students complete 24 credit points in the Finance specialisation (MAJ40306), which focuses on advanced financial concepts such as corporate finance, investment analysis, financial markets, risk management, and valuation techniques. This specialisation equips students with the ability to make informed decisions regarding capital investment, funding strategies, and financial planning for organisations. It also strengthens analytical skills needed to evaluate business performance and support sustainable financial growth. By combining core MBA knowledge, a capstone project, and specialised finance training, the program prepares graduates for careers in corporate finance, investment banking, asset management, financial consulting, and other senior roles in the global financial services industry.
