COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Advanced with a Business Analytics specialisation consists of 96 credit points and is structured to develop strong business leadership and advanced analytical capabilities. The program includes 60 credit points of core MBA subjects that build a solid foundation in essential areas such as strategy, leadership, finance, economics, marketing, operations, and data-informed decision-making. These core subjects help students understand how modern organisations operate and compete in complex global environments. A capstone subject is also included, which is completed after the core units and provides an integrative learning experience where students apply their knowledge to real-world business challenges, often through consulting-style projects or case studies. In addition, students complete 24 credit points in the Business Analytics specialisation (MAJ44177), which focuses on developing skills in data analysis, statistical modelling, business intelligence, and the use of analytical tools to support strategic decision-making. Students learn how to collect, manage, and interpret large datasets, use SQL for relational database management, and apply analytical techniques to solve financial, marketing, and operational problems. The specialisation also emphasizes data security, governance, and ethical use of information. By combining core business knowledge, a capstone experience, and advanced analytics training, the program prepares graduates for careers in business analytics, consulting, finance, and data-driven management roles across global industries.
