COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Applied Finance (Double Specialisation) is a 96-credit-point postgraduate degree designed to provide students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in finance and financial technology. The program consists of 36 credit points of core subjects that establish a strong foundation in key areas such as financial management, investment analysis, corporate finance, financial markets, and decision-making techniques. Students also complete a capstone subject, which serves as the culmination of their studies by integrating the knowledge and skills gained throughout the degree to solve real-world financial problems and demonstrate professional competency. In addition, the degree includes 54 credit points of specialised study, allowing students to develop expertise in Investing and Financial Technology. The Investing specialisation focuses on portfolio management, investment strategies, asset valuation, and risk management, while the Financial Technology (FinTech) specialisation explores technological innovations that are transforming banking, digital payments, insurance, and financial market operations.
