COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Computer and Autonomous Systems Engineering major) is a 192-credit-point program designed to prepare students for careers in intelligent computing, robotics, and autonomous technologies. The degree begins with a 48-credit-point first year that builds a strong foundation in core engineering principles, including mathematics, physics, programming, engineering design, and problem-solving skills. These foundational subjects equip students with the essential knowledge required for advanced study in engineering and computing systems. From the second year onwards, students complete a 144-credit-point major in Computer and Autonomous Systems Engineering, where they study advanced topics such as algorithms, software development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, embedded systems, control systems, and autonomous decision-making technologies. The program focuses on the design and development of intelligent systems capable of sensing, learning, and operating independently in complex environments. Students gain hands-on experience through laboratory work, coding projects, simulation tasks, and real-world engineering challenges that strengthen technical, analytical, and teamwork skills.
