COURSE CURRICULUM

The course structure consists of three main components: conversion units, core units, and optional units. Depending on prior academic background, students may need to complete up to 24 credit points of conversion units to build foundational knowledge in areas such as business communication, human resource management, data analysis, and introductory psychology, ensuring all students begin the program with the necessary academic grounding. The core component forms the main part of the degree and requires completion of 60 credit points across compulsory units that focus on applied workplace psychology and management. These core subjects include diversity and inclusion, people analytics, ethics and sustainability, management and organisational theory, organisational development and change, work design, leadership and coaching psychology, training and development, and health, safety and human factors. Students also complete a key capstone-style unit in organisational consultancy case studies, which provides practical experience in solving real organisational problems. In addition, students take optional units totaling 12 credit points, chosen from a wide range of subjects including employment relations, negotiation, strategic HRM, global business, project management, marketing, teamwork, assessment and selection, internships, and applied projects. These electives allow students to tailor the degree toward their career interests while gaining interdisciplinary exposure. Overall, the structure combines theoretical learning, applied skills, and practical experience to prepare graduates for professional roles in organisational and workplace settings.
