COURSE CURRICULUM

The Management major is structured across three levels, providing students with a progressive understanding of organisations, leadership, and business operations. At Level 1, students complete core introductory units including Organisational Behaviour and Management and Organisations, which build foundational knowledge of how individuals and groups function within workplace environments and how organisations are structured and managed. At Level 2, students deepen their understanding through Leadership and additional elective options that allow them to explore key pathways in managing people and organisations, managing operations and processes, or managing international business. Electives include subjects such as Human Resource Management, Project Management, Organisational Learning and Innovation, and International Management. At Level 3, students complete Strategic Management, which focuses on high-level decision-making and long-term organisational planning. They also select advanced electives such as Negotiation: Theory and Practice, Entrepreneurship, Applied International Business Strategy, Supply Chain Management, Enterprise Systems, and Managing Organisational Change. Across all levels, the course integrates theory with practical application through case studies, workshops, and real-world examples. Overall, the major develops critical thinking, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, preparing graduates for careers in management, consulting, entrepreneurship, human resources, operations, and international business across a wide range of industries and global organisations.
