COURSE CURRICULUM

The Enterprise and Innovation course is structured across three levels to develop students’ understanding of entrepreneurship, organisational innovation, and business development, along with practical skills for real-world application. In Level 1, students complete core introductory units including ENTR1342 Introduction to Enterprise and Innovation (6 points), which explores the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and creative problem-solving, and MGMT1136 Management and Organisations (6 points), which introduces key concepts of organisational structure and management. In Level 2, students progress to more applied study through BUSN2102 Changing the World: Social Innovation, Finance and Enterprise (6 points), which examines social entrepreneurship and financial aspects of innovation, and MGMT2311 Organisational Learning and Innovation (6 points), which focuses on how organisations adapt and innovate over time. In Level 3, students undertake advanced core units including ENTR3314 Entrepreneurship in Practice (6 points), which applies entrepreneurial thinking to real-world situations, and MKTG3303 New Product Development (6 points), which explores the process of designing and launching new products. Students also select option units such as ENTR3302 Scaling and Commercialising Start-ups (6 points), MGMT3335 Enterprise Systems (6 points), BUSN3001 Business Development Project (6 points), or WILG3001 Work Integrated Learning Internship Program (6 points), allowing practical experience in business environments. This structure prepares graduates for careers in startups, innovation management, consulting, and business development.
