COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Human Resource Management at UTS provides students with a comprehensive understanding of human resource management in complex and dynamic workplace environments. The program is designed to develop both conceptual and practical knowledge, preparing students to make informed management decisions while ensuring strong business literacy and providing career guidance. Core subjects form the foundation of the course, covering essential areas such as creative problem solving, managing staff and volunteers, diversity and inclusion, human resource management principles, the future of work, industrial relations, managing change, and leadership and stewardship. Students also explore managing in multicultural contexts, career and portfolio planning, and data-driven insights, giving them the analytical and strategic skills required to succeed in contemporary workplaces. Alongside these core subjects, students can select additional electives, allowing them to specialise in specific areas of human resource management and further enhance their professional practice, specialist knowledge, and capabilities.
