COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Engineering Management combined with the Master of Business Administration is a structured 96-credit-point program designed to integrate advanced engineering leadership skills with core business management knowledge. The program is carefully balanced to develop both technical and managerial expertise, preparing graduates for senior leadership roles in engineering-driven industries. It consists of two equally weighted components: 48 credit points in Engineering Management and 48 credit points in Business Administration. The Engineering Management component includes a 24-credit-point Professional Engineering stream and 24 credit points dedicated to Engineering Management studies, which also incorporate a graduate project. This project is undertaken in the final stages of the program and consists of a preparatory subject followed by a practical engineering management project completed over successive sessions, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world engineering challenges. The Business Administration component includes 36 credit points of MBA core subjects that build essential skills in leadership, strategy, finance, and organisational management, along with 12 credit points of electives that allow students to tailor their studies to specific career interests. The program is designed to be completed in two years of full-time study, requiring continuous enrolment throughout the duration. This integrated structure ensures graduates develop strong analytical, strategic, and technical capabilities, enabling them to lead complex engineering projects and drive innovation within global organisations.
