COURSE CURRICULUM

The UTS MBA program comprises a total of 96 credit points, offering a flexible and comprehensive curriculum that enables students to build both foundational management knowledge and specialised expertise aligned with their career aspirations. The program includes six compulsory core subjects worth 36 credit points, which provide essential knowledge in leadership, strategic management, organisational behaviour, marketing, finance, innovation, and business decision-making. In addition to the core, students complete 60 credit points of electives that can be tailored to suit their professional interests through a choice of majors, sub-majors, and individual elective subjects. Students may choose one major consisting of six subjects (36 credit points) together with either a sub-major or additional electives (24 credit points), two sub-majors worth 24 credit points each along with two elective subjects (12 credit points), or one sub-major (24 credit points) combined with six mixed elective subjects (36 credit points). This flexible structure allows students to customise their learning experience by developing expertise in specialised business areas while broadening their interdisciplinary knowledge. The combination of compulsory core studies and personalised elective pathways ensures graduates develop strong managerial capabilities, practical problem-solving skills, and industry-relevant expertise to meet the evolving demands of global organisations and dynamic business environments.
