COURSE CURRICULUM

This combined degree requires students to complete a total of 240 credit points, integrating comprehensive studies in Sport and Exercise Science with the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation (BCII). The Sport and Exercise Science component consists of at least 144 credit points completed across 24 subjects, providing a strong foundation in areas such as exercise physiology, biomechanics, anatomy, nutrition, health promotion, and physical activity. Alongside the core subjects, students can tailor their studies by selecting either a major or four elective subjects aligned with their career aspirations, enabling specialisation in areas relevant to health, sport, exercise, or rehabilitation. The BCII component contributes 96 credit points and is delivered in an accelerated format during July and Summer sessions throughout the first three years of study, followed by an additional full year after completion of the professional degree. This component is available only as part of a combined degree and focuses on developing advanced capabilities in critical and creative thinking, innovation, collaboration, entrepreneurship, and complex problem-solving. Students engage in interdisciplinary projects with industry and community partners, applying innovative approaches to real-world challenges. Together, the program combines scientific expertise with future-focused leadership and innovation skills, preparing graduates for diverse careers across sport, health, exercise science, and emerging interdisciplinary industries.
