COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Business comprises a total of 192 credit points, with an equal distribution of 96 credit points in Science and 96 credit points in Business, offering an integrated education across both disciplines. The Science component allows students to develop expertise in one of seven available science majors, covering major scientific fields and enabling them to tailor their studies according to their interests and career aspirations. This component builds strong foundations in scientific principles, analytical thinking, and technical knowledge relevant to a wide range of industries. The Business component complements this by providing essential knowledge in areas such as management, marketing, finance, economics, and organisational studies, with further opportunities to specialise through business majors as outlined in the Bachelor of Business (C10026) program. Students are required to complete both components in full before graduation, as the structure does not permit early completion of either degree within the combined program. If students wish to graduate with a single qualification, they must transfer into the relevant standalone degree and meet all its requirements. This structure ensures that graduates gain a balanced and interdisciplinary skill set, combining scientific expertise with business acumen. As a result, they are well prepared for diverse careers in industries such as pharmaceuticals, environmental agencies, healthcare, research, finance, government, and other sectors where both scientific understanding and business capability are highly valued.
