COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Property Economics at UTS is a 144-credit-point program designed to develop strong analytical, financial, and industry-ready skills for careers in the property and broader economic sectors. The course consists of 120 credit points of core subjects, which form the foundation of the degree and focus on essential areas such as property valuation, market analysis, investment analysis, property development, economics, finance, law, and planning. These core subjects ensure students develop a comprehensive understanding of how property markets operate and how economic, legal, and financial factors influence property decision-making in both local and global contexts. In addition, students complete 24 credit points of options subjects, which allow them to extend their learning or tailor their studies to specific interests within property, business, or related disciplines. This flexible structure supports both depth in core property economics knowledge and breadth across complementary fields. The program combines theoretical learning with practical, industry-relevant applications, often involving real-world case studies and project-based assessments.
