COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Nursing combined with the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation requires the successful completion of 240 credit points, comprising 144 credit points in Nursing and 96 credit points in Creative Intelligence and Innovation. The Nursing component provides comprehensive preparation for professional practice through an integrated curriculum of nursing theory, health sciences, clinical skills, and extensive practical experience. Full-time students typically study four subjects each session, with learning combining classroom instruction, simulation-based training, laboratory activities, and supervised clinical placements in diverse healthcare settings. Clinical practice is embedded throughout the degree, allowing students to progressively develop professional competence, critical thinking, communication, and patient-centred care skills. The Creative Intelligence and Innovation component is delivered in an accelerated format during July and Summer sessions, followed by an additional dedicated year after completion of the nursing degree. This unique structure enables students to build advanced capabilities in innovation, entrepreneurship, creative problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership while continuing their professional nursing education. The Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation is available only as part of a combined degree, ensuring students graduate with both specialised nursing expertise and transdisciplinary innovation skills. Together, the structured curriculum prepares graduates to become registered nurses who are capable of leading healthcare innovation, responding to complex challenges, and driving improvements in patient care, health services, and interdisciplinary professional practice.
