COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Management/Bachelor of Sustainability and Environment comprises a total of 192 credit points, designed to provide students with a balanced education in management principles and sustainability studies. The Management component accounts for 96 credit points and includes eight core subjects worth 48 credit points that build essential knowledge in areas such as leadership, organisational behaviour, business strategy, and innovation. In addition, students complete a 48-credit-point major, with options including Events, Sport Business, Digital Creative Enterprise, Strategic Innovation and Entrepreneurship, or Sustainability and Social Impact, allowing them to specialise according to their career interests. The Sustainability and Environment component also consists of 96 credit points and includes six core subjects worth 42 credit points that introduce key concepts in environmental systems, sustainability, and global challenges. Students further complete 54 credit points of electives drawn from interdisciplinary areas such as Science, Governance and Policy, Society and Culture, Engineering, and Environmental Studies, enabling them to broaden their understanding of sustainability from multiple perspectives. This integrated structure ensures that graduates develop both managerial expertise and sustainability knowledge, equipping them with the analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills required to address complex real-world challenges. Upon completion, students are prepared for diverse careers in management, sustainable business, environmental policy, consulting, entrepreneurship, events, and other fields that contribute to building responsible and sustainable organisations and communities.
