These subjects also emphasise how law interacts with society, governance and global systems, enabling you to recognise legal issues across diverse contexts.Beyond the core curriculum, you will have the flexibility to tailor your learning to suit your interests and career ambitions. A wide range of Options and Legal Theory subjects is available, allowing you to explore areas such as criminology, environmental law, negotiation, commercial law, dispute resolution, human rights and more. Students who seek to broaden their expertise can also undertake an additional major in Legal Futures and Technology, which focuses on emerging legal technologies, digital transformation and the evolving nature of legal services.You also have the opportunity to complete Practical Legal Training within the degree, meeting the requirements to become a practising lawyer in New South Wales. This integrated pathway gives you a direct, efficient route into the profession and ensures you graduate with strong practical and professional skills.
