COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Information Systems/Bachelor of Business comprises a total of 192 credit points, designed to integrate technical expertise in information systems with strong foundational knowledge in business. The Information Systems component accounts for 96 credit points and is structured into 78 credit points of core subjects that build essential skills in systems design, data management, analytics, and digital technologies, along with 18 credit points of Information Systems choice subjects that allow students to explore specialised areas aligned with their interests and career goals. The Business component also comprises 96 credit points, consisting of 48 credit points of core business subjects that provide a strong grounding in key business principles such as management, marketing, economics, and organisational behaviour, as well as a 48-credit-point major that enables students to specialise in a specific business discipline. This balanced structure ensures that students develop both technical and managerial capabilities, preparing them to operate effectively in digitally driven organisational environments.
