COURSE CURRICULUM

This double degree requires the completion of 246 credit points, combining Engineering and Science to develop graduates with strong interdisciplinary knowledge and technical capability. The Engineering component accounts for 168 credit points and includes 48 credit points of Engineering core subjects that provide foundational understanding in mathematics, physics, and engineering principles. Students also complete a 6-credit-point Professional Engineering Practice stream, which includes 12 weeks of industry experience to develop real-world skills and professional readiness. A major part of the engineering study is the 114-credit-point Engineering major, selected at admission, with the option to change later; students in the flexible pathway must confirm their major by the end of the first year of full-time study or transition into a designated major. The Science component contributes 78 credit points through a dedicated Science major, where students build advanced knowledge in scientific disciplines such as physics, chemistry, biology, or related fields depending on their selection. This structure ensures students gain both applied engineering expertise and strong scientific foundations, enabling them to approach complex problems from multiple perspectives. Graduates are prepared for careers in research, development, technology, environmental science, engineering industries, and innovation-driven sectors.
