COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Business is a 246-credit-point double degree that combines comprehensive engineering education with fundamental business knowledge to prepare graduates for leadership roles in technology and industry. The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) comprises 156 credit points, including 36 credit points of engineering core subjects that establish strong foundations in engineering principles, mathematics, design, and problem-solving. Students complete a 114-credit-point engineering major, selected at admission, with the flexibility to change majors later or continue in the flexible engineering program based on their interests. The program also includes a Professional Engineering Practice stream featuring at least 12 weeks of industry experience, enabling students to apply technical knowledge in real workplace environments while developing professional and industry-relevant skills. Complementing the engineering studies, the Bachelor of Business consists of 90 credit points, including 48 credit points of business core subjects that provide knowledge in management, marketing, accounting, economics, finance, and organisational behaviour, along with a 48-credit-point business major that allows students to specialise in a chosen business discipline. This integrated curriculum develops technical expertise, commercial awareness, leadership, communication, and project management capabilities, preparing graduates to manage engineering innovation, commercialise technology, and pursue careers across engineering, business, consulting, manufacturing, infrastructure, and technology-driven organisations worldwide.
