COURSE CURRICULUM

In the Bachelor of Business at UTS, you will begin by completing a series of core business subjects that provide a solid foundation in key areas such as Business and Social Impact, Marketing and Customer Value, and People and Organisations. These courses are designed to develop your essential capabilities and give you a broad understanding of how modern organisations operate, including decision-making, financial literacy, and the social and ethical responsibilities of business. Alongside these foundational units, you will study subjects like Accounting and Accountability, Economics for Business, Responsible Evidence-Based Decisions, and Accounting, Business and Society to build a well-rounded knowledge base that prepares you for more specialised learning. After completing the core subjects, you will progress to your chosen major, which allows you to focus on a particular area of business and tailor your learning to align with your career goals. You also have the option to enhance your studies by selecting a second major, sub-major, or elective units from other UTS faculties, giving you the flexibility to broaden your expertise and explore interdisciplinary opportunities.
