COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum spans 2 years and includes foundational sciences, occupational therapy theory, and practical skills. Year 1 covers human anatomy, physiology, psychology, and introductory occupational therapy practices, including assessment and intervention techniques. You'll study musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, mental health, and pediatrics. Year 2 focuses on advanced topics like community-based practice, assistive technology, and professional ethics. The program includes over 1,000 hours of clinical placements in hospitals, schools, and community settings. Core units include Occupational Performance, Enabling Participation, and Evidence-Based Practice. Electives allow specialization in areas like hand therapy or aged care.
