The Bachelor of Applied Science (Diagnostic Radiography) is an accredited undergraduate coursework degree designed to prepare you for professional practice as a diagnostic radiographer. This program develops your skills in using the latest imaging technology to produce high-quality medical images that assist medical specialists in describing, diagnosing, monitoring, and treating injuries or illnesses. Accredited by the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia, this degree meets the requirements for general registration as a diagnostic radiographer in Australia.The program spans four years and includes core and elective units delivered in a prescribed sequence, including an elective focused on international health. An integrated honours pathway is also available for eligible third- and fourth-year students, offering advanced academic and research opportunities. A key feature of the degree is the extensive clinical education program, which begins in your second year and continues through years three and four.
