COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Advanced Computing and Bachelor of Science (Health) is a combined degree that equips students with strong technical computing skills alongside a comprehensive understanding of health and healthcare systems at local, national, and global levels. The program is designed to prepare graduates for careers in digital health, health informatics, and technology-driven healthcare innovation. Students complete core computing units that build foundational skills in programming, algorithms, data structures, software development, and systems design, preparing them to work as professional computing specialists. They also undertake a major in Advanced Computing, supported by additional elective units that allow for deeper specialisation in areas such as data science, artificial intelligence, or software engineering. Alongside this, students complete a Health major that provides broad knowledge of human biology, psychology, public health, and eHealth systems. This ensures they understand how healthcare operates and how technology can be applied to improve health outcomes. The program integrates interdisciplinary learning, allowing students to connect computing solutions with real-world healthcare challenges.
