COURSE CURRICULUM

UniSQ’s Bachelor of Environmental Science requires the successful completion of 24 units of study, structured to provide both foundational knowledge and opportunities for deeper exploration in the field. The degree includes eight core units, covering essential topics such as environmental studies, weather and climate, scientific methods, experimental design, statistics, Indigenous environmental perspectives, and work-integrated learning. Students then complete an 8-unit primary major to develop expertise in their chosen area of environmental science. The final 8 units are student-selected, allowing flexibility to tailor the degree to individual interests, including interdisciplinary minors or electives. This combination ensures graduates are well-prepared with practical skills, theoretical understanding, and the adaptability needed to pursue careers in sustainability, ecology, biodiversity, climate management, and related environmental fields.
