COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Accounting requires students to complete 24 units, structured to provide a strong foundation in business while developing the specialised skills required for professional accounting practice. Like most undergraduate programs, the degree combines core courses, a major, and additional study options, giving students both breadth and depth across business disciplines. Students begin with four core units that establish essential capabilities in communication, business fundamentals, digital literacy, and analytical thinking, ensuring they have the foundational skills needed for higher-level accounting study. The central component of the program is the 12-unit Professional Accounting major, which covers the full spectrum of accounting knowledge expected of future professionals. Through this major, students develop expertise in financial accounting, management accounting, auditing, taxation, business law, corporate reporting, and the application of information systems within accounting environments.
