COURSE CURRICULUM

The program requires completion of 32 units over 2 years. Core courses include: Introduction to Epidemiology, Introduction to Biostatistics, Epidemiological Methods, Applied Biostatistics, Infectious Disease Epidemiology, Chronic Disease Epidemiology, Research Protocol Development, and a Research Thesis or Capstone Project. Students must complete 24 units of compulsory courses and 8 units of electives from areas such as environmental health, global health, or advanced statistical methods. The curriculum involves lectures, seminars, practical sessions, and independent research. Assessment includes exams, assignments, presentations, and a major research project where students design and conduct an epidemiological study.
