COURSE CURRICULUM

The (Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology) is a structured 40-unit program delivered over three years, combining coursework, clinical training, and research development. In Year 1, Semester 1, students complete 8 units focused on foundational knowledge in clinical psychology and neuropsychology, followed by another 8 units in Semester 2 that further develop core competencies in assessment, intervention, ethics, and professional practice. In Year 2, students undertake a 6-unit full-year course alongside additional coursework, including 6 units in Semester 1 and 4 units in Semester 2, which deepen their clinical expertise and integrate advanced psychological theory with applied practice. These studies are supported by supervised clinical training, allowing students to progressively build confidence and competence in real clinical settings. In Year 3, Semester 1, students complete 6 units that focus on advanced practice, specialization, and professional integration across clinical neuropsychology and clinical psychology. The program concludes with a 2-unit elective in Year 3, enabling students to tailor their learning to specific interests or career goals. Across all three years, students engage in rigorous academic study, supervised clinical placements, and research-informed learning. This progression ensures the development of advanced clinical reasoning, assessment skills, therapeutic expertise, and professional competencies required for specialist practice and endorsement in clinical psychology and clinical neuropsychology.
